JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Observatory on Israel’s Crimes against Palestinians has denounced the ongoing Israeli disinformation campaign and attacks on journalists in Palestine, especially in Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
According to the SPA, just before the upcoming Islamic Conference of Information Ministers extraordinary session, to be held in Istanbul on February 24, the observatory emphasized the need to fight these tactics, which are attempts to hide the truth of the crimes committed by Israel, in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The observatory added that the session, attended by the information ministers in the OIC member countries will talk about joint efforts to confront disinformation campaigns launched by Israel against Palestinian journalists.
The observatory said the killing, harassment, and violence confronted by journalists while covering the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip and the whole occupied territory.
