JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has vehemently condemned the appalling crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip earlier today, resulting in the tragic loss of 13 Palestinian lives, including ten children and women. More than twenty Palestinians have also been wounded in this ruthless attack.
The OIC considers this heinous massacre as yet another display of Israel’s brutal military aggression against the Palestinian people, representing a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian principles, while the perpetrators continue to enjoy complete impunity.
The General Secretariat of the OIC expressed its strongest condemnation and held Israel, the occupying power, entirely accountable for the grave consequences stemming from these ongoing crimes, attacks, and acts of organized state terrorism.
OIC urges int’l community to ensure protection of Palestinians
The organization emphasized that these actions have significantly undermined security and stability in the region, calling upon the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by providing international protection to the Palestinian people. Furthermore, the OIC reiterated the urgent need to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for all its crimes and violations against the Palestinians, their land, and their sacred sites.
