ISLAMABAD: A passenger was killed and 25 others serious injured when a passenger bus overturned due to fog in the district of Khairpur, Pakistan, on Thursday morning.
According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred when a speeding bus overturned while taking a sharp turn near Khairpur. The unfortunate incident claimed the life of one passenger on the spot, a private news channel reported.
The bus, en route from Punjab to Karachi, faced the accident. Prompt response from rescue teams enabled the timely transfer of the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
