ISLAMABAD: Local officials said that one person was killed and another person wounded in a road at M-9 Motorway near Loni Kot Police Station on Saturday. The accident occurred when a speeding trailer ran over a car carrying two passengers traveling from Karachi to Hyderabad.
According to police, the collision caused severe damage to the car and led to the death of one passenger. The injured person was quickly shifted to the nearest hospital by rescue officials for medical treatment.
The trailer driver fled the scene after the accident, leaving the victims without assistance. The local police are currently investigating the incident and started a search operation for the driver.
