RAWALPINDI: At least one terrorist was killed and two others were injured during exchange of fire between troops and terrorists in the general area of Spinwam in North Waziristan District on Monday.
According to the army’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) troops effectively engaged the terrorists and after exchange of intense fire, one terrorist was killed and two others were injured.
Accordfing to the ISPR, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists. The slain terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as killing of innocent citizens, the ISPR said.
“Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area,” the ISPR said.
