ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) remains critical, marked by a continuous wave of violence attributed to the Indian government’s policies. Recent reports from Kashmir Media Service highlight that Indian troops have martyred three Kashmiri youths in separate military operations across Srinagar and Islamabad districts.
This latest incident adds to a grim statistic where nine Kashmiri youths lost their lives in October alone, primarily due to aggressive cordon and search operations.
Since the onset of conflict in January 1989, over 96,373 individuals have reportedly been killed by Indian forces in IIOJK. The enduring violence reflects a long history of suffering among the Kashmiri people, who continue to demand their right to self-determination.
The report emphasizes that these daily killings stem from the illegal occupation by Indian forces, which are intended to instill fear among the populace.
However, it asserts that the resilience of Kashmiris remains unyielding, as they are prepared to sacrifice their lives for freedom. The report urges the international community to intervene, calling for action to halt the ongoing violence and address the longstanding Kashmir dispute in line with United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
