Oscars 2024 First Round Of Presenters Announced

LOS ANGELES: Michelle Pfeiffer, Al Pacino and Nicolas Cage are among the first round of presenters announced for this year’s Oscars.

The initial lineup of presenters for the 96th Academy Awards, revealed on February 26, also features Brendan Fraser, Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Zendaya, Mahershala Ali, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, and Sam Rockwell, according to Variety.

Raj Kapoor is reportedly set to serve as the show’s executive producer and showrunner, alongside executive producers Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan. Interestingly, Jimmy Kimmel is making his fourth return as host for the Academy Awards.

Upon the announcement, Academy CEO Bill Kramer expressed excitement stating that we are thrilled about Jimmy returning to host and Molly [McNearney] returning as executive producer for the Oscars. The two have the passion for movies and the will to present an entertaining show for the global audience.”

The Academy Awards will take place on March 10 at a new time, 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, from the Dolby Theatre. Additionally, “Oppenheimer” leads the nominations this year with 13, followed by “Poor Things” with 11 and “Killers of the Flower Moon” with 10. Other nominees for Best Picture include “American Fiction,” “Anatomy of a Fall,” “Barbie,” “The Holdovers,” “Maestro,” “The Zone of Interest,” and “Past Lives.”
