MADINAH: More than 10 million people have offered prayers in Al-Rawda Al-Sharifa at the Prophet’s Mosque in 2024 so far, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
According to statistics issued by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque, overall, 5,583,885 men and 4,726,247 women prayed in Al-Rawda Al-Sharifa.
The statistics showed that the average waiting time before entering Al-Rawda Al-Sharifa was 20 minutes, with the number of visitors per day reaching up to 48,000. Awareness programs were also provided to worshipers in 11 languages.

These measures reflect the authority’s commitment to facilitating worship in and visits to Al-Rawda Al-Sharifa, as well as visits to the tombs of the Prophet (PBUH) and his companions. These programmes align with the aspirations of the Saudi leadership to enhance services for visitors and worshipers at the Prophet’s Mosque.
