PAF Contingent Returns from Successful Participation in Saudi Arabia Aerial Exercise

ISLAMABAD: The contingent of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) arrived at an operational air base of PAF after successfully participating in Exercise Spears of Victory 2023, held at Air War Centre Dhahran (King Abdulaziz Air Base), in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the event, PAF fighters practiced multiple tank refueling over international waters.

The adroit pilots of PAF displayed mastery and professional legacy amongst the aircrew of the eight participating air forces, according to a PAF press statement.

As part of the exercise, PAF’s JF-17 fighter was pitched against a number of state-of-the-art fighters of the world, and PAF’s fighter jet proved its combat agility and potential.

PAF fighters practice multiple tank refueling in single flight

Pakistan Air Force fighters also practiced multiple tank refueling, in one go, from Dhahran to Peshawar through PAF’s own tanker aircraft IL-78 after the exercise culminated. The non-stop flight of jets via inflight refueling is yet another milestone marking a momentous stride towards an unconquerable aerial defense of the motherland.

The indigenous and imperative achievement highlights the sound foothold of PAF’s operational training of its personnel in conjunction with the latest developments in aerial warfare. This pivotal moment of mid-air refueling over international waters has proved the lethality, capability, and capacity of PAF’s fighter fleet along with augmenting the overall combat efficacy of the Pakistan Air Force.
