BEIJING: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that friendship between Pakistan and China has no other parallel in across the world. He was addressing the Pak-China Friendship and Business reception in Beijing on Thursday. He said that Pak-China friendship is unprecedent in the recent history. The Prime Minister said that the friendship between Pakistan and China stood by test of time, wars, earthquakes and floods. The PM said, “This friendship has been unshakable, this is what China-Pakistan friendship all about.”
Shahbaz Sharif said that China’s short-term development is an inspiration for them and providing basic needs of life to its people is China’s success. He vowed to follow the Chinese model of success for progress, development and prosperity of Pakistan. He said China’s exemplary growth in information technology (IT), agriculture, industry, education and space sciences are a beacon of light for them.
He said China has invested in its youth, modern techniques in agriculture and industry. PM Shehbaz Sharif said China is world’s greatest story of struggle, untiring efforts and hard work, making it a great nation without which the world cannot proceed.
The PM expressed condolence on behalf of the entire Pakistani nation to the families of Chinese citizens killed in Bisham incident. He said this was a nefarious plan of enemies of Pak-China friendship and China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He said Pakistan strongly condemns this dastardly act and will ensure every humanly possible effort to protect each Chinese citizen across Pakistan.
