ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister for Political, Public Affairs, National Heritage and Culture Amir Muqam has said that those students who were studying in Afghanistan and now facing problems after restrictions by the Taliban government, will be facilitated and all efforts would be made to adjust them in different educational institutions in Pakistan.
The federal Minister said that while talking to a delegation of Pakistani female students who were studying in Afghanistan, here in Islamabad on Friday.
Assistance to Female Students
Amir Muqam assured the students of every possible assistance to the female students, adding that he would write a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the admission of those 105 female students in Pakistan who were unable to continue their education in Afghanistan.
He also assured the delegation that he will tackle the issue in the next federal cabinet meeting.
Amir Muqam recalled that a similar situation occurred during Russia-Ukraine war with Pakistani students studying in Ukraine, therefore these students had a genuine issue that he would try to resolve.
The parents of the students were also present on the occasion, who thanked Amir Muqam for taking the issue forward.
