Pak Rupee Sheds 68 Paisa against US Dollar

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan rupee weakened by 68 paisa against the American dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs282.28 against the previous day’s closing of Rs281.60.

According to FAP (Forex Association of Pakistan), the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs282.2 and Rs285 respectively.

Pak Rupee Against Other Currencies

The price of the Euro witnessed an increase by Rs1.35 and closed at Rs301.82 against the last day’s closing of Rs300.47, as per reports of the SBP (State Bank of Pakistan).

The Japanese Yen witnessed a decline by 1 paisa to close at Rs2.10, whereas the British Pound marked an increase of Rs2.97 and was traded at Rs342.99 as compared to its last day’s closing of Rs340.02.

The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham increased by 19 paisa to Rs76.86 from Rs76.67, whereas that of Saudi Riyal increased by 17 paisa to close at Rs75.18.
