Pak Women Cricketers Successfully Surge Ahead in ICC’s ODI Ranking

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani women cricketers including captain Bismah Maroof, Nida Dar, Diana Baig and Fatima Sana have successfully surged ahead in ICC Women’s ODI ranking, while getting better positions from their previous situation.

In the batters ranking, the skipper and hardworking Bismah Maroof has gained three slots to reach 22nd position after aggregating 93 runs in the current series against the Aussies, while Nida Dar has also gained three spots to reach 32nd position.

In the bowling rankings, Diana Baig moved up one place ahead and reached 23rd, while the energetic Fatima Sana moved up three slots to 29th in the ICC rankings.

In recent times, women cricketers have shown resilience and commitment resulting in a lot of improvement in their performance and skills.
Earlier the former cricketer Sana Mir was the only player to attain such hallmarks, however, in recent times a number of female players have managed to do so.
