ISLAMABAD: High Commissioner of Pakistan in Maldives Vice Admiral (R) Muhammad Fayyaz Gilani has held a meeting with Defence Minister of Maldives Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon and held productive discussions on matters of mutual interest, local media reported on Friday.
The high commission said in a statement on social media account that High Commissioner held productive talks with Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon and team. The statement added, “Looking forward to working closely for enhancing bilateral cooperation and ties,”
“The discussions centered around enhancing bilateral interactions between Pakistan and the Maldives in areas of mutual interest,” the Maldivian defence ministry said in a statement.
