BEIJING: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi paid a visit to the Huawei exhibition center in Beijing, where he engaged in discussions about its projects and partnership with Pakistan. Upon his arrival, Ambassador Hashmi received a warm welcome and was informed that Huawei, a prominent global provider of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, employs the largest number of foreign nationals from Pakistan.
Accompanying him were Commercial Counsellor Ghulam Qadir, Science and Technology Counsellor Khan Muhammad Wazir, and other embassy officials.
Following the visit, Ambassador Hashmi shared his satisfaction on social media platform X, expressing pleasure at the discussions held and highlighting Huawei’s significant employment of Pakistanis. He also mentioned the added bonus of interacting with Ambassador Zhang’s company.
In another engagement, Ambassador Hashmi met with Hu Zhongmin, Chairman of China Great Wall Industry Corporation, discussing matters of mutual interest. He described the interaction as pleasant and productive, expressing anticipation for further enhancing the existing collaboration.
