ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and UAE Minister of State Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh discussed ways to enhance bilateral collaboration between the two countries.
According to state broadcaster Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received a call from UAE Minister of State Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh.
The two leaders discussed matters related to regional and international peace and stability.
“They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pak-UAE cooperation, both bilaterally and at multilateral fora,” the broadcaster said.

Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry also said on X that the two leaders discussed “matters related to regional and international peace & stability”.

Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates agreed to continue and expand bilateral cooperation in the field of Railways and other economic domains on Monday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the understanding was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi and UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Ahmed Al-Tahiri in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the UAE Ambassador congratulated Hanif Abbasi on assuming his new role as Federal Minister for Railways and extended his best wishes for his success.
Ambassador Ahmed Al-Tahiri also expressed deep sorrow over the recent terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express, where terrorists attempted to hijack the train and take passengers hostage.
He condemned the attack and extended his sympathies to the affected passengers and their families.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UAE, particularly in the railway sector.
