Pakistan Army Martyred Soldiers Laid to Rest with Full Military Honours

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army soldiers who were martyred during an exchange of fire with terrorists in the southwestern Balochistan province on Sunday (October 29) were laid to rest in their ancestral towns with full military honours, said a military statement.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) ISPR statement on Tuesday stated that the martyred soldiers included Naib Subedar Nasir Irfan, aged 37 and a resident of the Okara district, and Sepoy Irfan Ali, aged 22 and a resident of the Sargodha district. Both of these brave soldiers embraced martyrdom during the exchange of fire with terrorists in the Awaran district of the province. They were accorded full military honors during their funerals.

The funerals were attended by a large number of military officers, soldiers, family members, and local residents who gathered to pay their respects and offer prayers for the departed souls.

The statement further said that the sacrifices of these martyrs stand as a testament to the determination and high spirits of the Pakistan Army in its continuous battle against terrorism. Their commitment to the cause of ensuring peace and security in the region remains an inspiration to all.

The war against terrorists will continue until the complete eradication of terrorism.
