Pakistan Army Officer Martyred, Three Terrorists Killed During Operation in Zhob: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army officer, Major Babar Khan, embraced martyrdom while three terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation by Pakistan’s security forces in the Sambaza area of Zhob district of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated on Tuesday.
According to ISPR, on May 14, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Sambaza area of Zhob district of Balochistan.
During the conduct of the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists location, as a result of which three terrorists were sent to hell. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, ISPR stated.
However, during the intense exchange of fire, leading his troops from the front, Major Babar Khan (age: 33 years, resident of Mianwali district) having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom, ISPR reported.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist present in the area.
“Pakistan’s security forces, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” ISPR resolved.
