Pakistan Army’s Martyred Cadet Laid to Rest with Full Military Honors in Lakki Marwat

RAWALPINDI: Gentleman Cadet Arif Ullah Shaheed of the Pakistan Army, who bravely foiled the attack of Fitna al Khwarij on the mosque in Lakki Marwat district on October 25, was laid to rest with full military honors in his native area.

A large number of Pakistan Army’s senior officers, soldiers, relatives of the martyr and elders of the area participated in the funeral prayer and burial of the martyr, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.

Pakistan’s armed forces are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the motherland at any cost, ISPR stated.

Earlier on Friday, Khwarij attacked a mosque in Lakki Marwat district during Maghrib prayers.

According to ISPR, under training gentleman at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, Cadet Arif Ullah, who was on leave in his hometown, was also present there, offering prayers in the same Mosque.

As soon as Khwarij started firing, he immediately responded and fought the Khwarij bravely. However, during the incident, nineteen-year-old gentleman Cadet Arif Ullah embraced martyrdom sacrificing his life, while saving many innocent lives of worshippers.
