Pakistan Army’s Martyred Soldiers Laid to Rest with Full Military Honours

RAWALPINDI: The valiant soldiers of the Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom in different terror attacks in Balochistan, were laid to rest with full military honours in their respective native areas, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.

According to ISPR, their funeral prayers and burial were attended by senior Pakistan Army officials, soldiers, the martyrs’ family members, and a large number of local dignitaries.

It is pertinent to mention that these brave soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice while gallantly fighting against terrorists in various areas of Balochistan on the 25th and 26th of this month.

These martyrs include Naik Abdul Majid Shaheed (age 34 years, resident of Dera Ghazi Khan district), Sepoy Muhammad Saqlain Shaheed (resident of Mangwal area in Khushab district), Sepoy Zeeshan Ullah Shaheed (age 22 years, resident of district Peshawar), Sepoy Muhammad Shahryar Shaheed (age 21 years, resident of district Sargodha), Sepoy Ghulam Muhammad Shaheed (age 21 years, resident of district Suhbatpur), and Sepoy Zakir Khan Shaheed (age 26 years, resident of district Suhbatpur).

The martyred soldiers were laid to rest in their respective native areas with full military honours. A large number of senior officers of the Pakistan Army, soldiers, relatives of the martyred soldiers and elders of the area participated in the funeral prayers and burials of the martyrs.

Pakistan’s security forces remain steadfast and resolute in their commitment to thwart any efforts aimed at undermining peace, stability, and development in Balochistan. “The sacrifices of our martyrs will never be in vain,” ISPR resolved.
