RAWALPINDI: The “Inter-Governmental Commission on Military and Technical Cooperation” between Pakistan and Belarus, established in 2015, met at the Ministry of Defence Production on Monday.
This marks the fourth session of the commission, with the previous meetings, including the latest in Minsk, Belarus, in April 2021.
The ongoing session, from January 22-24 in Pakistan, is headed by Rassalai Viachaslau, Deputy Minister SAMI, leading the Belarus delegation, and Secretary Defence Production Lt Gen (R) Humayun Aziz, leading the Pakistani side.
During the meeting, both delegations reviewed progress on previous agenda points. A consensus was reached on the potential for increased collaboration between Pakistan and Belarus in areas of mutual interest.
