Pakistan: Body of 15-year-old Boy Found on Margalla Hills Trail 5

ISLAMABAD: The body of a 15-year-old boy who went missing, was found on Trail 5 in Islamabad, local media reported on Monday.

The young student’s mother had filed a case of her son’s disappearance on Sunday at the secretariat police station following he went missing on Saturday on Trail 5.  The police started further probe into the matter after the body was found in a ditch at the middle point of Bari Imam and Pir Sohawa.

A local television cited the police sources as saying, the teenager’s uncle identified the body. The missing child was identified as Taha. According to local media, the child’s water bottle, bag and mobile phone were lying next to the body.

Superintendent of police (SP) city, assistant superintendent of police (ASP), Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) officials, Rescue 1122, Wildlife and Forest Department teams are present at the site of mishap.  The sources said that attempts are being made to retrieve the body of the child from the ditch.

Taha’s family, while talking to media persons, said that Taha was the only son of his parents and he was missing since Saturday.
