Pakistan Clean Sweeps Volleyball Series Against Australia

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has emerged triumphant in the three-match volleyball series against Australia, clinching a clean sweep victory in the last match of the series. In the final match of the series, Pakistan secured a resounding 3-0 win over Australia at the Pakistan Sports Complex’s Liaquat Gymnasium.

The Pakistani team proved unstoppable against the visiting Australian squad. The final match witnessed Pakistan’s dominance as they sealed victory with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, and 25-20, leaving Australia unable to counter their opponents’ relentless momentum.

The series’ closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Rana Mashhood, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, as the chief guest alongside Chaudhry Yaqoob. They presented awards to the deserving players, celebrating Pakistan’s remarkable achievement on the volleyball court.

In the previous two matches, Pakistan had secured victories in the first and second matches against Australia, both characterized by straight sets triumphs.

This volleyball series held special significance as it marked Australia’s inaugural participation in volleyball matches on Pakistani soil. The successful hosting of the series signifies a milestone moment for Pakistan’s sports diplomacy efforts.
