MULTAN:  Pakistan has triumphed in the Blind T20 World Cup, securing the title with a commanding 10-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the final at Multan Cricket Stadium.

Chasing a target of 140 runs, the Pakistani team completed the task in just 11 overs, displaying exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the chase.

Nisar Ali was the standout performer, blasting an unbeaten 72 runs off just 31 balls, leading his team to a smooth and decisive win.

This victory adds another prestigious title to Pakistan’s remarkable record in blind cricket, further solidifying the nation’s dominance in the sport. Fans across Pakistan erupted in celebration, marking the team’s outstanding achievement.

Earlier, Pakistan’s blind cricket team stormed into the final of the Blind T20 World Cup 2024 with a resounding 10-wicket victory over Nepal at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Chasing a modest target of 95 runs, Pakistan’s openers displayed remarkable dominance, reaching the target in just 5.3 overs without losing a wicket.

Kamran Akhtar was the star of the chase, hammering 13 boundaries and a six in a blistering unbeaten knock of 63 off just 21 balls.

His opening partner, Babar Ali, contributed a quick-fire 32 not out from 14 deliveries, ensuring an emphatic finish.
