ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai Hussain Muhammad reaffirmed his commitment on Tuesday to continue comprehensive efforts for the welfare of the Pakistani community residing in the United Arab Emirates.
During his visit to the Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD), Muhammad stated, “It is the core objective of the mission to extend all possible facilitation and assistance towards achieving the welfare of the Pakistani community.” The visit, initiated by the Pakistan Journalists Forum (PJF), aimed to strengthen ties and discuss collaborative efforts.
Addressing the gathering, Hussain said that every Pakistani in the UAE served as an ambassador of Pakistan and stressed the importance of working together for shared national well-being goals.
He urged Pakistanis to uphold a positive image of their homeland by adhering to local laws, assuring that the consulate would always be supportive and proactive in assisting the community.
PJF President Tahir Munir Tahir, in his welcome address, assured the consul general of the forum’s support, particularly in highlighting the positive image of Pakistan. During an extensive question-answer session, PJF members engaged in a meaningful exchange of views with the consul general.
Subsequently, Dr. Muhammad Nasim Sabir, the Medical Director at the Pakistan Medical Centre (PMC) established by PAD, provided a detailed briefing to Consul General Hussain Muhammad on the center’s operations, facilities, and services offered to deserving patients on a welfare basis. Dr. Sabir highlighted that the PMC treats over 100 patients from various nationalities free of cost on average.
Consul General Hussain Muhammad commended the selfless contributions and dedication of doctors and healthcare professionals providing volunteer services at the PMC.
He expressed appreciation for the humanitarian and welfare services offered under the umbrella of PAD, acknowledging their positive impact on the Pakistani community and earning recognition.
