Pakistan Conveys Condolences to Russia After Moscow Terror Attack

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi paid a visit to the Russian embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday to express Pakistan’s heartfelt condolences to the Russian people and government following the tragic terror attack in Moscow.

During his visit, Foreign Secretary Qazi signed the condolence book, reaffirming Pakistan’s staunch condemnation of the heinous act of terrorism and offering unwavering solidarity with Russia during this time of immense sorrow.

The terror attack, which occurred at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow on Friday night, saw four gunmen indiscriminately open fire on approximately 6,000 individuals attending a concert, resulting in a devastating loss of lives. According to Russian authorities, the attack claimed the lives of 137 people, with over 100 others sustaining injuries.

Pakistan stands in solidarity with Russia as both nations mourn the victims of this senseless act of violence, underscoring the importance of international cooperation in combatting terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.
