LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hosted a Christmas dinner at Gaddafi Stadium as festive celebrations commenced across the country on Monday. PCB’s Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf, alongside top officials and Christian employees, attended the dinner.
Addressing the guests, Ashraf expressed, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to all those celebrating Christmas in Pakistan and around the world. We are delighted that you are part of the Pakistan Cricket Board.”
He continued, “Your dedicated service to Pakistan cricket is greatly appreciated, and the PCB acknowledges your efforts. I hope that you and your families celebrate with joy, and I wish you well.”

Meanwhile, the Pakistan cricket team, currently in Australia, exchanged gifts and sweets with their Australian counterparts on Christmas and extended warm wishes to their families.
“Warm wishes and heartfelt gifts for the Australian players and their families at the MCG indoor nets,” posted PCB on social media.
The Green Shirts are gearing up for the second Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), to be started tomorrow.
