Pakistan Deputy PM Visits China

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has reached Beijing today for a four-day trip, to co-chair the fifth Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue with Chinese top diplomat Wang Yi.

Upon his arrival, Ishaq Dar was received by Chinese Ambassador Wang Fukang and Pakistan’s envoy to China Khalil Hashmi. During the strategic talks, they will comprehensively review bilateral ties, including economic and trade cooperation, high-level exchanges and trips, the upgrading of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, future connectivity steps and the geopolitical situation.

Ishaq Dar will also hold talks with Chinese leaders, senior officials and key businessmen.
