ISLAMABAD: On a mission of solidarity and support, Pakistan once again extends a helping hand to the Palestinians in their time of need. From Karachi Airport, the sixth batch of relief goods embarked on a special flight bound for Gaza, symbolizing the unwavering commitment of the Pakistani nation to stand by their Palestinian brothers and sisters.
In a departure ceremony attended by dignitaries including the Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan, representatives from NDMA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Armed Forces officers bid farewell to the relief supplies, emphasizing Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
The journey of compassion will take the relief supplies to Al-Arish, Egypt, where the Pakistani ambassador will receive them before onward transmission to Gaza for distribution among the affected population.
Comprising 100 tonnes of essential relief items, this batch includes 30 tonnes of winter tents and blankets, along with 70 tonnes of vital medical supplies and dry food provisions. This generous contribution underscores Pakistan’s commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people amidst challenging circumstances.
This dispatch marks the continuation of Pakistan’s relief efforts, with a total of 230 tonnes of aid already sent through five previous flights. These shipments encompass a range of necessities, from winter shelters and blankets to surgical supplies, medicines, and food packs, demonstrating Pakistan’s comprehensive support for the well-being of the Palestinian community.
In this hour of difficulty, Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and pledges to sustain its support, standing shoulder to shoulder with them as they navigate through adversity.
