Pakistan, Egypt Commerce Ministers Discuss Trade, Investment Opportunities

CAIRO: Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Industries, and Investments, Dr. Gohar Ejaz, met with his Egypt counterpart Ahmed Samir who was the chief guest of the 4th Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference (PATDC) & Single Country Exhibition (SCE).

During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing collaboration in key sectors such as agriculture, textiles, engineering, and services.

Both parties acknowledged the potential mutual benefits arising from expanding economic and trade ties between Pakistan and Egypt. The meeting, attended by policymakers and business leaders from various countries, provided a platform for a convergence of diverse ideas and opinions, fostering a conducive environment for meaningful discussions.

This event serves as a pivotal platform to foster economic ties and explore investment opportunities between Pakistan and Egypt. The discussions highlighted the commitment of both nations to deepen economic cooperation and leverage strengths in key sectors.

Dr. Gohar Ejaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to making Pakistani markets accessible to the MENA region. This goal is pursued by strengthening economic ties with MENA economies, with a focus on potential collaborations in agriculture, textiles, engineering, and services.
