Pakistan Embassy in Moscow Commemorates Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir

MOSCOW: The Pakistan Embassy in Moscow observed Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir on Saturday, honoring the righteous struggle of the Kashmiri people for freedom and condemning India’s illegal and unilateral actions in the region.

The ceremony started with a recitation from the Holy Quran, then followed by the national anthems of Pakistan and Kashmir. A special documentary shedding light on the illegal action taken by India on August 5, 2019, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and its repercussions was showcased during the event.

On the occasion of Youm-Istehsal, special messages from Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, were read by Third Secretary Jetha Nand and Third Secretary Muhammad Tayyab.

Members of the Pakistani community attended the gathering at the embassy, expressing their unwavering moral, political, and diplomatic support to the indigenous freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people.

Indian Atrocities in Occupied Kashmir

Additionally, a photo exhibition highlighting Indian atrocities in IIOJK was arranged, providing a visual representation of the human rights violations taking place in the region.

Meanwhile, the Embassy of Pakistan in Ukraine also observed Youm-e-Istehsal on the same day, marking four years since India’s illegal and unilateral actions on August 5, 2019. Participants at the event expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people and reiterated their commitment to raising their voice for the realization of their legitimate rights.

These commemorations reflect Pakistan’s continuous commitment to stand in solidarity with the Kashmiri people’s struggle for self-determination and its efforts to bring international attention to the ongoing human rights crisis in IIOJK.
