ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday expelled a senior British-American journalist Charles Glass from the country for alleged visa violation which didn’t permit him to do reporting.
Credible sources told WE News that senior Journalist Charles Glass was on a valid visitor visa to Pakistan which was not meant for reporting work in Pakistan.
British American journalist Charles Glass was under watch by authorities concerned over visa violation and following a specific political agenda.
He without permission went to Rawalpindi to meet the founder PTI chairman in jail but was prevented. He was found outside Adiala Jail Rawalpindi the other day where he reportedly spoke on the situation concerning PTI founder chairman.
Senior officials of the information Ministry confirmed this development however said Charles Glass is being sent back to his home country.
However other senior officials confirmed that Charles Glass has been deported from Pakistan.
Information Ministry sources confirmed that he never mentioned in his visa application submitted in London for any reporting in Pakistan.
