Pakistan Faces Bangladesh in Five-Nation Basketball Competition Semifinal Today

LAHORE: Pakistan will face Bangladesh in the semi-final of the five-nation international basketball championship in Male, Maldives today (Tuesday).

According to local media, Pakistan secured their spot in the semi-finals after delivering a great performance, emerging victorious in the previous three basketball matches. They edged past the Maldives 65-63.

They also dominated the Bhutan team with a commanding 76-53 victory.
In their last encounter, Pakistani basketball players convincingly defeated Bangladesh 84-66.
However, their journey started with a minor setback as they suffered a defeat against Nepal, with the final score resting at 66-62.

In the first semi-final on Tuesday, Nepal meets Bhutan.

Pakistani basketball players, under the leadership of Mohammad Shahbaz Ali, consist of a talented roster of players, including Abdul Wahab, Mohammad Umair Jan, Mohammad Shahid, Imad Ahmed, Zia-ur-Rehman, Saqibullah Mahsood, Zain-ul-Hassan Khan, Mahtab Akram, and Sheraz Aslam.
