ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has left for the United States (US) to attend the annual meetings of the International Monitory Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, according to local media reports.
During his trip, he will also meet the top officials of the International Monitory Fund and World Bank and the senior officials of the US State and Treasury Departments. The Minister will meet with his counterparts from the United Kingdom, China, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey during the trip.
He will hold talks with officials of international credit rating agencies, commercial banks, as well as investment banks in the Middle East.
The Minister will also shed light on the nation’s economic scenario while also addressing investment forums and seminars.
