Pakistan Football Federation Conducts Referees’ Talent Acceleration Course 2024

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has conducted a four-day referees’ refresher and talent acceleration course in 2024 in Rawalpindi.

The course, organized in collaboration with the Army Sports Directorate, bolstered referees’ expertise in physical conditioning, technical proficiency, tactical acumen, and theoretical understanding.

Thirty-four participants benefited from the sessions, led by PFF Referee Manager Khurram Shahzad and physical instructor Muhammad Shafat, who provided expert guidance.

A PFF spokesperson emphasized the federation’s dedication to enhancing refereeing standards nationwide, stating, “PFF is committed to advancing referee development through comprehensive training initiatives. Our goal is to equip referees with the necessary skills and knowledge to represent Pakistan effectively on the international stage. We are planning additional courses focusing on various aspects of refereeing in the upcoming months to further bolster this endeavor.”
