ISLAMABAD: The cost per tola of 24-carat gold increased by Rs.2,200 to Rs 216,500 on Friday compared to Rs 214,300 on the last trading day.
The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported on Friday that the cost of 10 grams of 24-carat gold also jumped by Rs 1,886 to Rs 185,614 from Rs 183,728, and the price of 10 gram 22-carat increased to Rs 170,146 from Rs 168,417.
The price of ten-gram and per tola silver experienced no change in prices and were sold at 2,186.21 and Rs.2,550, respectively.
The Association reported that the price of gold in the international market fell by $20 to $2006 from $1986. —APP
