Pakistan Govt Decides to Import 50% Items Via Gwadar Port

ISLAMABAD:  The government of Pakistan has decided to import fifty percent items including sugar, wheat, and fertilizer through Gwadar port.

The rate of exports from this port will be further enhanced in future. The Gwadar port is an international trade hub for Pakistan and a strategic asset.

The employment of the people of Balochistan and the economic stability of the south western province depend on the full functioning of Gwadar Port.

The full functioning of the port will also reduce the burden of imports and exports on Karachi Port. The foreign exchange generated from Gwadar Port will have a positive impact on the lives of the local population.

After the of Gwadar Port, there will be a clear decreased in the poverty line in Balochistan and there will be a significant reduction in unemployment. Local population will be given preference for jobs at Gwadar Port.
