Pakistan Highly Values its Bilateral Ties with Kazakhstan: PM

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Shar on Saturday underscored that Pakistan deeply values its bilateral ties with Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the prime minister spoke on the phone. The prime minister emphasized the significance of boosting tourism and expanding people-to-people connections and expressed happiness that flight operations between the two nations would start shortly, according to a news statement from the PM Office Media Wing.

The two leaders agreed on the need to expand further bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture, IT, textiles, and energy.

The president of Kazakhstan emphasized his nation’s intention to develop their long-standing bilateral ties further, describing Pakistan as an important country in the region. The president of Kazakhstan was also extended an invitation by the prime minister to visit Pakistan on business as soon as possible. — APP
