Pakistan Hosted Multinational Naval Drill Concludes in Arabian Sea

About 60 countries participated in the naval exercise

KARACHI: The multinational naval exercise, Aman 2025, organised by the Pakistan Navy, concluded on Tuesday with the grand holding of the International Fleet Review in the North Arabian Sea, showcasing global unity in maritime security.

According to the details, about 60 countries participated in the naval exercise by deploying their naval warships, aircraft, marines, and special operations forces.

At the impressive International Fleet Review, foreign and Pakistani naval forces presented a stunning Aman formation.

Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir was the chief guest on the occasion. During his visit to the Pakistan Navy Ship Moawin, General Munir was warmly welcomed by the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf.

The exercise, conducted under the motto “United for Peace,” underscores Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to fostering peace and cooperative security on the high seas.

The Governor and Chief Minister of Sindh, the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, along with ambassadors, high commissioners, heads of foreign navies, senior military officers, and defence and naval attaches also attended the ceremony.

General Munir witnessed various operational exercises, reflecting the coordination and expertise shared among the international forces.

The event featured a breathtaking flypast involving the Pakistan Navy, the Pakistan Air Force, and aircraft from participating nations. The Fleet Review also included ship manning and chairing exercises, demonstrating the precision and professionalism of the naval forces involved.

The exercise concluded with the formation of the traditional peace formation, symbolising the collective commitment of all participants towards ensuring maritime security and peace.

General Munir praised the Pakistan Navy for its successful hosting of Aman 2025, commending the country’s steadfast dedication to peacebuilding and regional cooperation.

He also thanked the international navies for their participation, emphasising that the exercise had become a significant forum uniting global geopolitical powers under the shared objective of ensuring “Safe Seas, Prosperous Future.”

A noteworthy addition to Aman 2025 was the inaugural Aman Dialogue, a platform that enabled naval leaders from around the world to engage in meaningful discussions on maritime security issues.

The highlight of the exercise, the Aman Formation, featured warships from Pakistan and participating countries coming together in a display of unity. The formation served as a powerful symbol of the shared commitment to safeguarding peace and stability in the region’s vital seas.

Following the flyover, the naval vessels performed the traditional “Man and Cheer Ship” ceremony, honouring naval traditions.

Aman 2025 multinational exercise reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region through mutual cooperation among naval forces across the world.
