Pakistan Hosts Multinational ‘Fajar Al Sharq-V’ Counter Terrorism Exercise

RAWALPINDI: The National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi town of Nowshera district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa hosted a two-week-long multinational joint counter-terrorism exercise, Fajar Al Sharq-V with the participation of Special Forces contingents from friendly counties, said a military statement on Monday.

According to ISPR, the Fajar Al Sharq-V is a joint effort in the domain of counter-terrorism involving Special Forces from member countries, including Pakistan, Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The exercise focuses on fostering joint employment and interoperability while also strengthening the longstanding military relations among these brotherly countries. 

The participating countries have demonstrated eagerness and enthusiasm to draw upon each other’s expertise and experiences, enhancing mutual cooperation in the realm of counter-terrorism.
