LAHORE: Kyrgyzstan’s ambassador to Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev, on Sunday, highlighted the significance of the opening of the Pakistan Trade House in his country for promoting Pakistani products and attracting investment and buyers in the market and further moving towards the Eurasian economic union.
Addressing a function in Lahore, the ambassador said that Kyrgyzstan Trade Houses would be set up in key cities of Pakistan for direct interaction of the business community to promote bilateral trade and knock huge capacities through regional connectivity, which he added is a need of the time in the prevailing international scenario.

Ulanbek Totuiaev called upon the chambers of commerce and industry to take steps to exploit the present market of Kyrgyzstan and adjacent countries of the region. The ambassador said frequent exchange of business community visits would pave the way to enhance bilateral trade in several sectors.
He added that one of the key obstacles to developing trade-economic cooperation between the two sides and regions is difficult logistics routes. He added that it would be overcome following successfully establishing a railway link via Afghanistan.
The envoy announced that the government of his country has started working on implementing this gigantic multinational project of regional significance. He said that newly Kyrgyzstan Trade House and his embassy in Pakistan are always available to assist traders with business visits to Kyrgyzstan, a land with ample investment opportunities.
