Pakistan-Hungary Holds Sixth Round of Bilateral Political Consultations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Hungary on Monday held the 6th round of bilateral political consultations in Budapest to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, Pakistan’s foreign office said in a statement.

Additional Foreign Secretary (Europe) Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan led the Pakistani delegation while Deputy State Secretary Ambassador Lazlo Varadi led the Hungarian side.

The two sides reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments. Both countries agreed to work together on maintaining a positive trajectory in bilateral ties and explore new areas of cooperation.

Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan also met the State Secretary for Security Policy and Energy Security, Petar Szataray, and Deputy State Secretary for International Cooperation, Atilla Hidegh in Budapest.
