Pakistan, Indonesia to Promote Quranic Teachings, Interfaith Harmony

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Aneeq Ahmed, met with the Ambassador of Indonesia, Adam Mulawarman Tugio, on Friday to discuss matters of mutual interest.

As two nations with the largest Muslim populations, both leaders agreed that Pakistan and Indonesia should collaborate to foster a profound understanding of Quranic teachings within their societies.

Their discussions extended to various issues related to cultivating a culture of dialogue aimed at resolving challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.

They emphasized the crucial role of religious scholars and clerics in educating the younger generation about religious teachings and addressing contemporary challenges.

Furthermore, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to leveraging each other’s experiences and enhancing relations at the public level.
