ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior has established a dedicated helpline to receive and address complaints pertaining to illegal immigrants and facilitate the safe and dignified voluntary return of all undocumented foreigners.

Foreign citizens encountering challenges in the return process can now seek assistance by contacting the government’s official phone numbers.

The Ministry of Interior encourages citizens to actively participate in this initiative by providing valuable information about the presence and activities of illegal aliens in the country, aiding authorities in their efforts to maintain security and order.

Crackdown Against Illegal Immigrants

Meanwhile, the Karachi police conducted a targeted operation against illegal immigrants, leading to the apprehension of over 20 undocumented Afghan immigrants. This operation took place as the deadline for voluntary departure from the country expired.

During the operation, law enforcement officials recovered duplicate Pakistani national identity cards from the possession of several persons. The arrested individuals have been transported to the office of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sohrab Goth. They will later be shifted to Haji Camp, a processing center, on two separate buses.
