ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy continues to uphold its commitment to the well-being of coastal communities by expanding advanced healthcare facilities along the coastal belt of Balochistan, Pakistan’s military’s media wing said in a statement on Wednesday.
The media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, inaugurated a newly constructed block at Pakistan Navy Hospital PNS DARMAAN JAH during a ceremony held in Ormara.
Health facilities
The newly operationalised block is equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities, including a modern Operation Theatre (OT) complex, High Dependency Unit (HDU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Gynaecology Complex, Paediatrics Department, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the ISPR said.
On the occasion, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf said that equipped with latest facilities PNS DARMAAN JAH will provide health services to the local people, the ISPR said. The Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf has reiterated that Pakistan Navy would continue to utilise all its resources for the well-being of the coastal population, in addition to defending the maritime borders.
The ceremony was attended by senior government officials, local elders, and military officials.
