Pakistan Navy and PMSA Find Bodies of 10 Missing Fishermen

KARACHI: Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), in their operation recovered the bodies of 10 missing fishermen from the turbulent open sea.

The fishermen had gone missing after their boat encountered distressing conditions on March 5 near Hajamru Creek.

Since the initiation of the rescue operation on March 5, a comprehensive search and retrieval effort have been underway, utilizing a range of resources including aircraft, helicopters, ships, and speedboats from both Pakistan Navy and PMSA.

The joint endeavor reflects a coordinated and determined approach to address the urgent situation.

Among the vessels involved, PMSS Rehmat has notably played a pivotal role, recovering the bodies of ten missing fishermen. Following the recovery, the deceased have been respectfully handed over to the relevant civil authorities, ensuring dignified arrangements for their families and communities.

Despite the significant progress achieved, the operation remains ongoing with unwavering commitment to locate the remaining four missing fishermen. The collective resolve and perseverance of the search teams underscore the dedication to safeguarding lives and providing relief in challenging circumstances.
