ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy on Monday conducted a successful flight test of an indigenously developed ship launched ballistic missile.
According to a Pakistan Navy press release the system has a range of 350 kilometres and is capable of engaging land and sea targets with high precision.
The latest weapon system is equipped with a state-of-the-art navigation system and high manoeuvrability features.
It further said that the Chief of the Naval Staff and Senior Officers from the Pakistan Navy and scientists and engineers witnessed the flight test.
The President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Services Chiefs congratulated the Naval Units and Scientists on this remarkable achievement.
