RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Navy has handed over the liquor it seized during a joint sea operation to the customs authorities, said a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.
According to the statement, a joint operation of Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency and Pakistan Customs was conducted on the information provided by Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre.
During the operation, more than 4000 bottles of liquor worth around Rs 146 million were seized.
The successful execution of the operation is a demonstration of Pakistan Navy’s resolve to deter and disrupt illegal activities in maritime zones of Pakistan.
