Pakistan Navy Seizes Huge Cache of Narcotics in North Arabian Sea

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Navy on Saturday confiscated a huge cache of narcotics in the North Arabian Sea, said a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to ISPR, 380 kg of high-quality drugs were seized during an intelligence-based anti-narcotics operation. The seized drugs are worth thousands of dollars in the international market.

The statement reads that the successful operation against drug smuggling is the result of effective surveillance at sea by Pakistan Navy.

Naval warships of Pakistan Navy regularly perform duties to prevent drug smuggling, piracy, and human trafficking at sea.

Earlier last Tuesday, the newly deployed ASLAT ship of the Pakistan Navy confiscated a significant quantity of narcotics in the North Arabian Sea.

According to ISPR, the seized drugs hold substantial value in the international market, amounting to thousands of dollars. This successful operation underscores the Pakistan Navy’s vigilant surveillance efforts at sea.
