Pakistan Navy Warships Visit UAE, Participate in War Exercise Nasr Al Bahr

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Navy’s warships, PNS Shamsheer and PNS Haibat, docked in Abu Dhabi during their visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and participated in the joint war exercise Nasl Al Bahr, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release on Saturday.

Upon their arrival in Abu Dhabi, the Pakistan Navy vessels were warmly welcomed by senior UAE Navy officials and officials of the Pakistani Embassy. The Mission Commander, along with the Commanding Officers of PNS Shamsheer and PNS Haibat, held important meetings with UAE’s senior military leadership, ISPR stated.

During the meetings, professional matters of mutual interest and bilateral maritime cooperation were discussed.

During the port stay, the ships were visited by the UAE Assistant Minister for Security and Maritime Affairs, the senior leadership of armed forces, the Pakistani Ambassador to the UAE along with the Pakistani community and students.

At the end of the visit, the ships of the two countries also participated in the joint naval exercise Nasl Al Bahr, ISPR stated.

The war exercise aimed to enhance mutual cooperation and operational readiness between the two navies. This visit of Pakistan Navy ships will further promote the bilateral relations between the two countries.
